Harry Potter Themed Coaster Design
Description: The project focused on designing and creating a series of coasters themed around the magical schools from the famous Harry Potter book and movie series. Additionally, a customized storage case was developed for the coasters. The main objective was to blend creativity and passion for the Harry Potter saga with the practical functionality of coasters.
Tasks Accomplished:
• Modeling of Coasters and Case: Using 3D design software, digital models of both the coasters and the storage case were created. Shape, size, and functionality of each element were taken into consideration to ensure an ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing design.
• Thematic Design of Harry Potter Schools: Distinctive details and elements from each of the Harry Potter magical schools, such as Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang, were incorporated into the coasters. This involved researching and capturing the essence of each school to faithfully reflect it in the design.
• Preparation of Files for 3D Printing: Digital files were prepared for subsequent 3D printing. This included optimizing designs, ensuring compatibility with 3D printing systems, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the models.
Results:
The project culminated in the creation of a series of unique and personalized coasters, each representing one of the Harry Potter magical schools. Additionally, a storage case was produced specifically to house and display the coasters in an organized and secure manner.
Impact and Added Value:
This project not only offered functional and decorative products for Harry Potter fans but also extended its reach by creating coasters and a storage case themed around Marvel and the Justice League. This expansion allowed for the exploration of diverse themes and characters, catering to a broader audience of pop culture enthusiasts.
